Simon Bolton

Simon is a graduate of the Royal College of Art and is an international award-winning designer. His work has been exhibited in the Design Museum (London), Axis Gallery (Tokyo) and the Pompidou Centre (Paris).

Over 10 million people a week use one of Simon's products - Pinch Pull bag dispensing unit in Tesco's and Sainsbury's. Simon has extensive experience of working in Europe, North America and Asia for local and global brands. He is co-founder of the London-based design group Creative Resource Lab.

Simon is also Chair Professor of Creative Design and Director of the Centre for Competitive Creative Design at Cranfield University, and has spoken internationally on design and innovation issues at major educational and government events in Europe, Asia, North and South America.

Rob Thompson

Rob Thompson is co-founder of Creative Resource Lab.
He graduated from Central Saint Martins Product Design and went on to teach there for four years, specialising in materials and manufacturing.

His passion for innovative materials and manufacturing technologies culminated in the publication of his book, Manufacturing Processes for Design Professionals, by Thames & Hudson in autumn 2007. He currently holds a research post at the Royal College of Art, London.

Chris Lefteri

An accomplished designer in his own right Chris Lefteri is an internationally recognized authority on materials and their application in design. His achievements in this area have created a bridge between manufacturers, the chemical industry and the design industry. He has published eight books on design and material innovation, which can be found in most design studios around the world.

He has also delivered material workshops and curated exhibitions on materials and design at conferences, universities and museums across Europe, North America and Asia and has worked with a number of international clients including: Exxon Mobil Chemical, Dupont, Land Rover and Jaguar cars, Philips, Nike and LG Electronics. He is also a regular contributor to international design magazines such as ID and Damn and is a senior lecturer at Central St Martins College of Art in London. Chris Lefteri is also a visiting professor at LASALLE-SIA College of the Arts in Singapore. He received his MA in Industrial Design from the Royal College of Art.
